About

Please join the Goucher College Master of Arts in Arts Administration students on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. on the Goucher College campus! Collective talents from across the country will come together in Baltimore for this one-time, not-to-be-missed event. The Cabaret is a night of exciting performances, dazzling auction items, and a champagne-toast to the graduating class of 2014.

All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Master of Arts in Arts Administration Scholarship Fund. It is through the generous support of our vast network of supportive alumni and colleagues, as well as Goucher College, that we can continue to build this fund for future arts leaders.

This successful annual event was founded six years ago with these three goals in mind:

  • to work together to build community within the MAAA program and Goucher College

  • to raise the profile of the MAAA program in a positive way

  • to raise money for the MAAA Scholarship Fund

Each class accomplishes these goals in their own way - no two Cabarets are the same!

One exception to this rule is the constant support of

  • Fred Mauk, Associate Dean of Graduate & Professional Studies

  • Margaret-Ann Radford-Wedemeyer, Vice President for Development and Alumnae/i Affairs

  • Harry Bielas, Director of Advancement Services

  • and the faculty and staff of the MAAA program

The event will take place in Merrick Hall and the Rosenberg Gallery, which sit adjacent to each other within the Kraashner Auditorium complex. Here are directions to campus and an interactive campus map that includes parking - we recommend the lot closest to Dorsey Center.

Dress for the event ranges from casual to formal. If you feel like getting gussied up, there will be students and faculty dressed up as well. If you want to keep it low-key, you won't be alone either.

It is not necessary to purchase any tickets in advance.
